Columbia River Maritime Museum, Astoria Oregon's Waterfront Gallery of the Sea

Located on the waterfront about 10 miles from the mouth of the Columbia River in Astoria, this fascinating museum has a national reputation for high quality exhibits. Peruse an amazing collection of more than 30,000 maritime artifacts from the Pacific Northwest. At this Oregon maritime museum, you can tour the last active-duty floating lighthouse and see a World War II-era destroyer bridge. Enjoy numerous audio and video exhibits, and learn about the exploration of the Columbia River.

  • Can I schedule a guided tour? How much does it cost?

    Yes. Guided tours of the museum are offer at no cost, however you need a minimum of 10 people in your group. You must also schedule your tour at least two weeks in advance. To schedule a tour, please call 1-503-325-2323.
  • How much time should I allow to experience the Museum?

    To fully experience all the exhibits at the Oregon maritime museum, allow approximately two full hours.
